About the Event
In continuity with previous editions, the Encuentro EDICIC is organized by the Asociación de Educación e Investigación en Ciencia de la Información de Iberoamérica y el Caribe in even years.
The XIII Encuentro EDICIC has as its central theme 'Diversity, Equity, Inclusion and Accessibility' and aims to bring together the communities of Ibero-America and Caribbean, which carry out research and education activities in the Information Science area, covering the fields of Archival Science, Library Science and Museology.
The XIII Encuentro EDICIC is a space to share, discuss and disseminate knowledge from scientific research, postgraduate and undergraduate teaching, and professional performance in all dimensions and perspectives aligned with the central theme of the Event.
- Axis 1: Government and institutional information policies in a context of uncertainty.
- Axis 2: Training and professional practice: innovative strategies.
- Axis 3: Challenges to face regarding misinformation, counterinformation and fake news.
- Axis 4: Information and knowledge as elements of empowerment of marginalized communities.
The event will be held in remote mode, through the Google Meet Platform with live broadcast on EDICIC YouTube Channel.
