Submission Preparation Checklist

As part of the submission process, authors are required to check off their submission's compliance with all of the following items, and submissions may be returned to authors that do not adhere to these guidelines.
  • The submission has not been previously published, nor is it before another journal for consideration (or an explanation has been provided in Comments to the Editor).
  • The submission file is in OpenOffice, Microsoft Word, or RTF document file format.
  • If available, URL of bibliographic references must be provided.
  • The text is single-spaced; uses a 12-point font; employs italics, rather than underlining (except with URL addresses); and all illustrations, figures, and tables are placed within the text at the appropriate points, rather than at the end.
  • The text adheres to the stylistic and bibliographic requirements outlined in the Author Guidelines.
  • The authors' names were not placed in the submission text, that is, the identification of the authors was placed only in the metadata of the OCS system.

Author Guidelines

ATT.: Authors of approved full papers may use this presentation template (.pptx) (.pdf).

Authors must follow the expanded abstract template (.DOCX) (.PDF) available on the Event website.

  • The official languages ​​of the Event are Spanish and Portuguese, but texts in other languages ​​are accepted, at the discretion of the Scientific Committee of the XIII Encuentro EDICIC.
  • Each author can present a maximum of 5 (five) papers, considering authorship and co-authorship. In the case of presentation of more than 5 five papers, the last ones will be excluded according to the date and time of submission.
  • The Axis (subtheme) must be indicated in the template (.DOCX) (.PDF), as well as in the Open Conference System (OCS) metadata.
  • Submission of papers must be done online, through the OCS system on the website of the XIII Encuentro EDICIC.
  • At least one of the authors of the paper must register for the XIII Encuentro EDICIC.
  • Attention is requested when completing the metadata at the time of submission, since no changes can be made after the submission of the paper, except based on the recommendations of the ad hoc evaluators.
  • The papers presented (extended abstracts) and approved for presentation at the XIII Encuentro EDICIC will have the right to publish the paper (full text) in the special issue 2022 of the Revista EDICIC.
  • The non-presentation of the paper (extended abstract) at the XIII Encuentro EDICIC implies the automatic cancellation of the issuance of all the certificates linked to it, as well as the non-publication in the special issue of the Revista EDICIC.
  • The certificate of presentation of the article is unique and will include the name of all the authors.

NOTE: The cases omitted or not foreseen in the Guidelines for Authors are analyzed and resolved by the Scientific Committee of the XIII Encuentro EDICIC.
